The form of the apartment building is shaped by the simple premise to capture as much of the city and water views as possible. The composition challenges a more typical approach by accentuating a series of stacked elements rather than providing a uniform planar facade. The triangular nature of the site has had a dramatic influence, creating a stepped frontage that maximises daylighting and views from apartments.
Substantial balconies have been incorporated to all apartments to maximise outdoor living and enjoyment of the unique South East Queensland climate. Balconies open directly from living spaces to provide a seamless flow from internal to external living.
The roof top recreation space has been provided for residents to mix and meet whilst enjoying
extensive 360 degree views. Robust materials have been chosen for their durability in the coastal environment. The solidity of rendered facade has been softened with the use of lightweight elements.
