Lowood Shopping Centre

A small shopping centre with seven tenancies, an entry court, with one of the tenancies suitable for a small supermarket. Loading dock facilities provided. The supermarket is flanked by perforated panels displaying local history, backing to a bus stop, drop off zone and/or taxi rank. The remaining tenancies are retrofitted shipping containers, colourful with eloquent product display windows. Sometimes referred to as cargotecture, a portmanteau of cargo with architecture, or "arkitainer". These container tenancies define the perimeter to the entry court which may also be a food court.
